Witch Oracling a Text about my Situation
The recipient being me myself as "the writer" - regarding a Text to be presented to You, an audience of readers.
Card one, faced [medium] way: Griffin Crown - The Demon King.
At this point I suppose the Card has very little meaning; Given that it is a vague card presented to the Medium without
much context. So we kick off the Story with a mystery. Who is the Demon King? What is he up to? Why is he here? And so
we move on.
Card two, faced [recpient] way: Triangle Beast - Orc and Wolf.
The Orc and Wolf come as a team, much like the Rider and their Horse; And is in that more specific to a Knight. And
whether they be wearing shining armor or not would be a separate matter entirely. It projects Strength, but also Sharp
Claws and Fangs - and on top of that also Speed or Swiftness. Maybe less than the Wolf on its own, but certainly more
than just the Orc alone. When separated ... both of them can be considered strong on their own. Overall this card can
be considered a symbol of strong and unrelenting Force; For even in passivity, it could well be described as a Hunter.
Me: So, what can I make of this - my current situation. Clearly there is an obvious and a less obvious reading; But both
have their merit. For once I can think of the Squid situation - where, whether I'm dealing with a Commander in the Background
(the Demon King) or the Beasts themselves - there is a commanding/governing aspect to it that might concern me.
On the other hand there is my awaited salvation. Clearly, there would have to be someone somewhere - which would then
either be some handful of people that might get anxious about my wellbeing, or a more coordinated group that knows what
they're doing. The card would here certainly speak of the latter; Especially since the Demon King would suggest some
degree of command or orchestration that is then brought to bear.
I would therefore have to ask for another card.
Card two-B, faced [recipient] way: Square Beast - ... Monster.
Or as the Original Tradition would have it: the Sex Monster. Though equally unrelenting as the Orc and Wolf, ...
Me: Stop. It ... doesn't tell me much outside of only deepening the suspicion either way. To call upon the negatives,
the Squids certainly have that to them. Or as a more general reading on of the card would have it:
"it preys on a very specific thing, something that is more so driven by raw impulse or animalic instincts" - but it also
evokes something else in me that I have experienced in a very raw and visceral way. Something that felt like a promise;
And yet I would not understand why it wouldn't come. This card might speak to it as a problem; But well. Maybe the rest
of the story will make more sense of it.
Card three, faced [medium] way: Dragon 3 - Clouds.
As a Water Card, the focus here is on the Water; To speak of the cyclical aspect of Water between earth and the
atmosphere. Something is being recycled. But also are there vapors that accumulate into these objects until the atmospheric
conditions are right for them to shed themselves.
This latter part could be important for the reading here. While the card as such might very well speak to the 'Squids' as
having some kind of naturalistic element to them; It leaves the Demon King question further unanswered. Though this does
not exclude this option; The other reading would herein provide an argument or a reasoning behind the missing fulfillment
on the promise. We might further go as far as to suggest that a part of it is as an evaporation of water until some
critical amount is reached - but whatever the case, it does explain the Demon King; Or adds crdibility in that now some
kind of Plan or degree of Organization can be inferred.
Card four, faced [recipient] way: Star Wizard - the Priest.
The Priest is a person of dedication to a teaching, be it a set of values or ideas, and specializes in upholding that
teaching in service to a group or population respective to the teaching. They act as its avatars and exist on the verge
of being a representative authorty on elements of that teaching.
Me: Well. Again I suppose I could take this either way; But this would more so take me to the Squid aspect. While
the Demon King may previously have remained a Mystery, the Priest would allow for him again; In that the Demon King would
be the originator of that teaching, where the Squids as naturalistic beasts would be Carriers to that teaching. Whether
it be by the psychic effect that they have on their victims, or by a servant-like relationship they have with that teaching.
At this point however I don't feel like I would need an Oracle. I have stated as much. But still, to put it into a writing
as having it laid out this way makes a lot of sense. A lot more than, well ... forseeing that which I have at any rate been
waiting for. Plus Sex Monsters. Maybe. But there's no need to be this one-sided about it. But what would the Priest mean in
this context? Well, they could speak for a teaching Yet unknown to me. They could speak for a strong comittment to the things
that I have put forth. I suppose I do need another card here.
Card four-B, faced [recipient] way: Triangle One - Creation.
Creation - or maybe "the Card of Creation" - does exist in the context of the Day and Night cycle, thus speaking more to
THE Creation as in 'creation of the universe' than merely creation in general. But even so, the same aspects are being
evoked. Everything that is comes from somewhere - ...
Me: OK OK, I'm not getting smarter around here. If we so were speaking of a Priest of Creation, this would merely fall in
line with what I'm suspecting on that end. As for the squid reading, it might at first be a stretch to read 'Creation'
here 'literally', I suppose, as to call it a Creation - but that reading isn't all that far fetched. To call it, the Priest,
a Creation - composed of certain elements, put in order ... such and such. No need to be a smartass here.
Card five, faced [recipient] way: Circle Witch - the Medium.
Or, as the Original Tradition would have it 'Lulu' from Final Fantasy ... uh ... 10? 11? But I stuck with Medium as my
Lore Knowledge of that Game was already somewhat spotty. Yet, Lulu ultimately does carry "Medium" vibes throug her
Doll, the weapon type specific to that Character. Here the focus rests on the Doll as the Medium with the Character
itself projecting itself through it. Either way, we end up with the same idea - however - there is a depth to this
that is perhaps easily lost out on.
Me: OK. Same thing. But once again the reading tightens on the Squid story; Although this card doesn't really add anything
to it. Here, Priest and Medium matter in the same way. At best we might speak of an amplifier untop of what has already
been mentioned; Which again, doesn't really add very much.
On the other hand however I feel like I'm entering Mental Gymnastics territory. I can sure think of my Plushies and whatever
message is chanelled to me that way. Which means, that there is an odd amount of optimism that is projected towards me; One
I must certainly somehow suspect.
So ... I guess I need a little break.
I have to wonder what it is that I want - or might want to write to You about. Concerning my situation. Both readings make
viable causes. But with the Squid reading being what it is, an in and of itself plausible explanation of the thing that
I suppose needs no further explanation but might warrant a second look; I find that my bigger problem at this stage is my
relationship with You, the reader.
Or who would be the reader at this point in time.
So, at long last this last card also kind of stands out ... . While it would not add much to the story either way, it may
hand the reign back over to me, as both, the medium of the cards and medium of myself as unto this text here.
And so, who is this Demon King?
An adversary that sends an Army of Beasts our way to project false ideas into our Brains, while we thereby also feed into
this process by merely existing subject to their influences? Or an ally who lie in wait for the right time to act on behalf
of Creation to bring justice unto my name?
Which way am I now to be swayed?
For, the reading on the one hand is simple. It requires no judgment, only narration. As far as I'm concerned there are no
questions I hold; Only relative certainties that are merely reflected by these cards. On the other I find myself confused
between a sea of possibilities - and were I to allow the cards to talk to me on the matter, then I would have to believe
and trust in You, rather than being a drama Queen sullied by her own pessimism and drive to emotional self-harm.
It sounds reasonable. But so, I should now inquire further context to the Demon King, the Priest and the Medium.
Card One - step 2, faced [recipients] way: Star Witch - the Fighter.
Card Four - step 2, faced [mediums] way: Star Four - Good in Evil.
Card Five - step 2, faced [recipients] way: Circle One - Solar Eclipse.
The Fighter is a relatively simple Card. What would You have me say at this point?
Good in Evil can generally be read in two ways. There's the Good that would exist within any kind of Society - so, a relative
Good in spite of outward Evil; Comparative perhaps to Treasure Burried underneath Rubble. And there is that but in a more
direct way. The Good in the Cloak of Evil, sotospeak. I would assume that neither would apply much to the Squid reading; Although
there is this very abstract angle, speaking of "what doesn't kill You makes You stronger".
The Solar Eclipse is in first instance a Convergent Phenomenon; In second instance an event that very strongly emphasizes the
Light in direct contrast to the Darkness. It occurs during the day as the moon moves in front of the sun, darkening the sky
and the earth where for a brief period of time the beauty of the sun would become visible to the naked eye; Where in a manner
of speaking it is the only thing that would seem to matter - and the Light fulfills none of its purposes other than that of
beauty itself.
Me: Well, on the Squid Side there is a reading somewhere, like, speaking of some sense of goodness behind or within the Fighter
that periodically - although irregularly and infrequently - shows itself behind the usual noise and chaos. A deception I would
say - though there mere very well yet be more to it. As of the three I tend to be thinking of, Adria would be the one - in my
mind - that the Fighter card applies to the most. I do find moments of sympathy - around some suspicion at least - yet I try to
stay clear of the idea of trying to fix her. Overall, I feel her envy to also be very earnest; And if anything, this would have
to stand as a warning. The Good in the Evil being so a part of the Priest - a deliberate poison that is part of the Creation.
On the other side, the Demon King would stand to be a Fighter - akin to Chun Li perhaps even one with a long standing agenda
and a clear goal. The Priest, as a Priest of Creation, would there speak to the Good amidst that which might otherwise be considered
Sin or Sinfulness. This would be a deeper truth spoken by the cards, as to say that this isn't a superficial idea; As a "heathen"
interpretation might take it. Though the heathen would in that sense be the good in evil, their reading would so look at the
Priest as an avatar of evil that yet holds a kernel of goodness within. So, it evens out I guess.
And so, at this point, I'm also getting uncomfortable with the Squid reading. Maybe I shall indulge it at some other point; For
at this point it makes for a good reflection line to what I'm thinking anyway already. But with the other reading ... I suppose
I should want an oracle for that reading in particular.
I mean, in a way - I can do with both. Both very adequately express aspects of my current situation. I certainly want to indulge
the good reading of the second card in alignment with the Priest a bit more, but at this point ... I guess there is no value to
it. Which ... is a nice wrap for this actually.
Except ... I'm a little unsatisfied.
And so, I guess my curiosity should shift onto the Monster.
The Orc and Wolf would at first speak of a Force, or a Hunter. And the Monster adds an animalistic angle to it. So I would want
to know whether I'm thinking of a group of people here; Which further down the line entail a more specific kind of people or
purpose perhaps; Or if I'm thinking of a kind of threat, something perilous mayhap.
Card Two - step 3, faced [mediums] way: Griffin Triangle - Green Light.
Oh, "no rest for the wicked" I'm afraid. The Green Light Card is as all the other Convergent Triangle Cards rather obscure
with very little certainty. I might also add, that the Red Light wouldn't have made much of a difference either - given that its
implied meaning would speak to the one, while its color code to the other side. Red for Sensuality or Danger, and Green for
Growth or "Everything is OK".
Beyond that however, Green is also a very unnatural Light. It invokes a lot of positivity for whichever reason; Though when
ignoring Plants or nature, and speaking of the Light itself, it can be very hostile and uninviting. So, I'm not sure whether this
is to work as a signal of relief or a matter of context. My immediate inclination is to suppose that it is a very odd card to draw
for the question at hand; Thus siding with the 'signal' interpretation. But I have to invoke Medium's privilege and draw another
card.
Card Two - step 3-B, faced [mediums] way: Griffin Star - the Whore.
OK, thanks for reading. I mean, I feel like at this point it would be a comedy bit to try and find a way to read this the Squid
way; Where as for me, the Medium, it would appear to be a very straight reference. However, one that leaves some kind of a crack.
The Whore however is acting on self-interest; She offers itself - which is very invocative of the 'human' aspect; Which makes it
difficult to consolidate the the squid reading of the cards.
But so far ... my God has made zero efforts to make me change course while being very oddly optimistic untowards me such that with
this reading I'm moved to a pre-emptive "what in the Nine Hells?!" ... - being left with a fairly compelling good-night story that
does not leave me with any kind of unsound or rough edges to contend with.
Anyway it's getting late ... so, I suppose ... if there's ifs and buts to consider I have to come back around to them some other
time.
