I Love Black Holes

I don't know why. I mean, I was always fascinated by them - which, I'm sure I'm not alone with. I wrote a few things about it, and I wouldn't make much of it; But in my memory that was always one of those things that seemed to be ... untarnished.
Even if, by and large, what I wrote may have been nonsense.

And somehow this morning I woke up with Black Holes on my mind, dealt with Singularities - and wondered of what the physics of a Black Hole the size of a marble would be. In my mind it would work a little bit like Jelly, except that when You touch it, You're kind of screwed. Maybe You could take a stick and pry it off. But then ... I'm not sure. It kind of depends, I thought, on what the inside would be. Whether the singularity is a point that would just have it glide through all matter until it sat in the core, or if it had something that would give it some kind of surface.

And yea, it would have in form of time dilation. But then again, if the Pull of a Black hole is such, that it basically rips particles apart there wouldn't really much to hold on to anything that's pulled in.

But that should then again depend on the pull. Like, what happens if a marble sized black hole fell onto a piece of styrofoam or concrete. I mean, could it rip the concrete apart? I mean, the issue with Light escaping is one of how the particle moves through space. And the matter with any form of matter is too one of movement within the emptiness of space. But with a slab of concrete, there's something big enough for any particle that would fall in to resist - up to a point, so that the question becomes where that point is.

There's also something fascinating about Quasars. Or ... however You would call them. I mean, hearing about them, reading of them, it's a bit of a rollercoaster for me, from ... awe to disappointment. I mean, in that sense I just want something that's big and even more fucking awesome than a Black Hole. Though, sure, it would be a black hole at heart and thus I certainly Love Black Hole stars.

But whatever. There's also this Big attractor ... and I would dream of a place maybe, where the Galactic Center is so maassive, You wouldn't need a sun.

Maybe some planet ... floating in the void, pulled towards that center, which would however still also be so far away ... it wouldn't get there anytime soon.

But ... I mean, the thing with Black Holes is that they basically don't care. They're the end of the road for all things gravity. Whatever You throw at it, it would just eat it up and keep growing. Until there's so much, it becomes a star. But then maybe ... there is a limit. But what would that even look like. Solid Matter sitting around a black hole. I guess, again, it depends on what size we're talking about ... but so, I guess this is where my dreaming for the day ends.
