But so, where does it say anything about it in the Bible, You ask? I mean, isn't it like diametrically opposed to everything in there? Like ... a structure or construct in the world that lays the whole thing virtually to ash? Where would we find it in there? It's not that the book is alive - nor would it have made sense to write a book of maybes just to have it all covered. But rather it speaks of woes that are no further elaborated on.

So, what are the other two? I suppose the first one is knowledge of the Antichrist or the true implications of the Roman Catholic Church; Not however in regards to the thing itself but in respect to the extent of its reach and influence. One might look at it and find their worldview shattered. By the time I realized that this knowledge might send people flying into pits of despair, it's already been too late for me to maybe have been more considerate. But ... what can You do?
But yea. I'm guessing. And like so I'm guessing that the second one has to do with the cultural integrity; Or so the destruction of it via bad art, fake news and at long last AI slop.

All good reasons, in and of itself, to doubt the veracity of the Bible. It's like the word 'veracity' itself if You think voracity or ferocity. I just got a bit confused of what word I'm thinking of. And so, when I think of these woes ... now ... I think of the struggles I've had when it comes to certain topics; All in a way ... "spearheaded" by silly posters that would hold people glued to one idea or the other that only feeds into the bigger problem. Like ... the Elder Scrolls.

I never understood the hype behind those games. I tried out a few, had a little bit of fun ... but the degree to which some people seem to be obsessed over them; And the extent to which they have climed to cultural dominance; That's ... "woeworthy".
And I'll take an extra piss on it here because that STUPID DRAGON from the Skyrim Box Art reminds me of a little something. Well, the one I think of is the Prism with the wings coming from it - so it looks a little different - but the moment I saw it, it reminded me of something. That Little shit was wrapped around me so tightly for so long, I have an imprint of it in me now. I wear that stupid head as a hat now and delight in its dangling back and forth.

I mean, I can see the appeal behind those games, little things here and there that have potential, but rather than fleshing it out it shifts the burden of quality onto window dressing. Making it all look like it means something without actually meaning anything apart from nudges and winks.

Just think of all the virtual real estate that's clogged up because of shit like that. I mean, one great example here is the Box Art for Elder Scrolls IV remastered. It looks pretty - it evokes something within me, giving me some Neverending Story vibes ... but the game is nothing like that. It's just polish and gold plating decorating a turd.

But yea. What does it mean to be a real Nerd? What is it all about? Well, the thing is, if I want a Power Fantasy I'd play Doom, if I want Adventure I'd play Soulsborne ... - where, any criticism that would endeavor to go deeper is just pretentiously lost.
But that's art criticism for You. On the one end You have the kind of stuff that'd earn You an episode of the Angry Videogame Nerd, on the other You have Elden Ring, and everything in-between is like on a slider of how well it works and how the mechanics feel. Which is ... fair I guess.

However good or bad it is, it doesn't matter. This isn't going to be that kind of piss. This is more so about the foot in the door - on the matter of cultural destruction. AI Slop would be the end-game of it. Here too You can say about the pros and cons what You will, it is at the end of the day the most condensed form of brainrot.

It's an ecosystem of "I care not" and "I will not" - while everything that has actual quality falls under the weight of how easy it is to enjoy this shit if You have no standards.
Not that the things it pushes down would easily fill the void that would be there - but so let's say it's half half. Half void, half ... at least its not brainrot.
Or in other words: More time to touch grass.

It's a story of how an easy statement such as "the destruction of cultural integrity" leads to a question like "how that?" which leads to an answer we could argue about until we all fall over with nothing gained at the end of it. Fake News might be the easier target, although it's not so much fake news but all of this nonsensical opinionated hate messenging.

All items that are just stressful to endure if You truly care about art and culture. You wanna poke here and wanna poke there because somehow it has to go away, but it only keeps growing and growing.

So, sure. The point isn't to shut down Bethesda - it's to learn to move past this.

I mean, I noticed recently something I had kept noticing, but I also always forgot again. The was this advertisement for this car playing while I was watching Netflix - yea LOL - paying to watch Ads, how wonderful - and I had this overwhelming feelig of "all is well" ... we're happy and have cars and go on adventures and possibly take pictures while we're all happy at our dipshit campfire in the worse imaginable spot right in front of our car or whatever ... which is like ... our life, isn't it? Watching ads while imagining that we are happy because we have all that.
