And the Gears be Turning again
When it comes to USA/Israel (a.k.a. "the Axis of Epstein") versus Iran, Iran is in the right. [locked in]
I hate it when conservatives try to win us over by arguing that 'they' ("the Muslims") are not even progressive.
But yea, neither are You - and so ... what are You trying to say here?
As Jesus stated, one is supposed to clean up the inside of a cup before cleaning the outside. So, by Christian
virtue ... well, ... "You said it Yourself".
And about the golden rod ... if You say that it's OK to just violate human dignitity because feelings, yea,
what should we do with You but ... take Your own measurement ... against You?
I'm tired of this ... because it has been stated over and over again.
Here's a thing: A few new blips have emerged in my mind ... and at first things were a bit odd/uncomfortable
for some reason. After a switch flipped in my head ... those blips changed posture ... and now it's a bit odd/uncomfortable
in a different way. It comes down to cultural differences, nothing major. The discomfort certainly obscures a lot of
... where I want my heart to be at ... and we maybe need a distinct word for that too. But the truth is, I think they're
sweet. Originally my discomfort ... it's kind of hard to discribe. Now they're perhaps too humble. But I suppose ... I
now understand ... that this humility isn't as much unto me, but unto what I represent. And so for all I care ... they
are the good guys.
The switch that got flipped ... it all comes down to colonialism. Or more to the point: How the matter affects us,
culturally. Because ... between east and west ... there is THAT divide. We were the colonizers, fair enough, and where
we haven't had to leave in disgrace ... things even turned out ... fine. Arguably. At least ... by the looks of it.
But it still ... created or creates a lot of negativity.
It's in the struggle for dominance. When a Tyrant imposes their dominance, it would take a similar force to overcome it;
To then be left with a similar structure of power ... that merely by virtue of how things went down might resemble a
Tyranny. Or be functionally identical. And thus, may become a Tyranny in its own right.
But that ... by and large ... would be our fault; And the more we re-enforce the structures that perpetuate these
dynamics ... which is to say: The more that we force other cultures to rise to the iniquities of our leaders ...
the more likely it is that things will never change.
Are we to tell them to "Keep Sweet"?
Not on my watch!
Or more to the point: Not if I can help it!
I mean, in the hypothetical - where I find myself on top of a Pyramid, supposed to "rule" - I look from where I stand;
And where I stand, I identify with a culture and a national identity ... which ... I don't necessarily subscribe to.
I mean, to put it on the record: Our Chancellor can go fuck himself.
But so, locality becomes a problem. Authority also. And with it comes cultural bias. Like, Mormon leadership ... how
many of the 12 ... Apostles ... come from outside Utah? I know there was a german guy once - not sure just 'how' german
though. But also ... I kind of don't care.
So, at this point we don't have much of a business interfering in one another's cultures - but we all should be invested
in bridging the divides. And I have to say ... my mouth has been running off "practicing chinese".
I mean, it is inevitable ... that just by the numbers ... our leadership and culture will be heavily influenced by them.
So, I like to look at them as a big brother.
And so, as for the first discomfort ... there's cultural differences. Which is a very shallow term I would say - (John
Cena has Burning Skin, Brandon Lee Mulligan also; And I say that because other people of similar complexion I've seen
... do not) - because "culture" I think is often a very superficial thing. It's about customs and food and clothing.
And it leaves this huge ... empty space ... for us, well, to say that we're all human. But there's a lot that goes into
our own understanding of what it means to be human. And in a place like Germany it's all fun and games (casual racism)
to say ... how Bavarians are different to the rest; Which comes along with saying that we might not recognize ourselves
as 'human' in the first place; But as ... a Swabian (this word SUCKS! SH ... should be it), a Bavarian or what have You
... . And so, if a Bavarian is not a Shwab, they're kind of not a "real human being" like I am.
To say that there's things like sensitivities ... maybe folk-lore, the significance of certain foods and items within
the cultural framework ... and so the nuances of how we expect to be able to interact with one another. Firstly within,
and secondly outside of that framework. So, in germany we have Beer - for instance. And yea, we all have our own stuff
that we call Beer ... and we're happy with it even if the rest of the country calls it Piss.
Sure, I'll drink a [Bleep] with You. It came as a surprise that there are multiple "Hofbraeu"s. I was under the impression
that it's Shwabian. We have one however.
But then there's the national umbrella. While we may have ways to cross the cultural rift amongst each other - once the
identity of who You are resides outside of that greater framework ... it's all shit and piss again.
And it's the same on the other side too. I mean ... they look at us ... and think that WE are the weird ones.
And then there's artistic expression. You come from a culture that is necessarily full of weird little nuances that You
couldn't even begin to properly explain to someone; ... but uh, different story. More importantly:
Politics adds to that, that it's also a part of who we are. And I think it's mostly a western sentiment ... that we don't
really like Politicians. So, in Modern day Europe You wouldn't find households displaying a picture of any one of them.
Maybe as sticker in a toilet. I mean, there might be a market for that.
Waterproof stickers. Ugh ... maybe just the pissoir.
Then, when in contact with a culture that very well still understands the significance of sound leadership ... we are
the ones that should step back with the admission that maybe we don't know what we're doing!
I'm reminded of this incident I recently heard about ... of some American who was imprisoned in North Korea during some
New Year thing ... and eventually he died. Nobody is really sure why, people say that he got tortured ... and yea, well,
I get it. We have our idea of what North Korea is ... but for what it's worth, it works in keeping our dirty hands to
ourselves. And sure, let's say that all that he did wrong (and it's possibly the truth) was that they didn't like his
face. That they have a hostile default attitude towards Americans. Which is as official as it gets. But then I have to
look at Americans, and ourselves even, and our "default attitude" towards people who aren't white. Yea, we don't make it
a necessity mandated by government to hate on them ... but that argument is extremely thin these days. And virtually non
existent for all those that'd want to shout out about it!
I mean ... WE are building concentration camps. And whenever it comes out that the legal system is fucked - that the good
guys end up being kicked out while the bad ones get an out somehow ... yea, what can I say but to welcome our Chinese
Overlords?
Well, it's not that simple. Because, that'd be them just doing us dirty - which ... yea, fair ... - like, I'm sure that
there's parts of their cultures that don't mesh well with ours ... and that's the whole problem. We don't have a clear
superlative to that just yet ... but it can't come about by the circlejerk of doing each other like that.
But so, in that greater context ... I'm not under the impression that a dismantling of our political structures is the
key to anything but things that suck. Just yet. We have the option to replace our leaders ... they might have different
methods to affect the same result. But it's OUR OWN problems first ... to remove the splinter from our own eye, before
trying to pull the beam from that of our neighbours. And all we can do ... at first ... wow, I'm counting myself to the
top now, from here is to posture. To set a mark ... . We have to make top-down decisions, definitely ... but so with the
thing on mind that is to follow.
In closing ... there are several problems that I'm 'experiencing'. One stands out as this asymmetry I've pointed out
here, or would need to be further elaborated on. The other stands out as a matter of impulse and authority. The same
thing, in a way, but ... yea. I mean, there is our own perspective. Our own world. And since I write in english ...
there's some kind of "first bias". Like so, I invite the english speaking world to the table, because that's the world
I can communicate with ... which however leaves out a large chunk that can ... it feels 'stranger'.
What's worth pointing out however is that a very large chunk of us here in the west sympathize more with what we understand
as Buddhism than with our own Religion. Our Spirits yearn for the east ... and their wisdoms. And maybe it's because the
things that we're taught ... are good and right ... so, the teachings of Jesus ... seem to be a lot more alive over there
than they are here. So, the second discomfort: I don't know. There's a vacuum that needs to be filled ... and we all have
parts of what needs to go there. And ... it ... it strikes me as ... us not having figured out the right balance between
Dominance and Submission just yet. And then there's ... our very own Dipshits that ... we may all have collective PTSD
from.
We're all like Children, not knowing what to expect from the other while clearly ... we don't have a clear idea of our own
worth either. Yea, that ... is in about what that comes down to.
So ... hmm ...
Yea, it makes sense ...
Blessed be the People of China.
