Matrix Reloaded

...

...

I forgot what I wanted to write about, so instead I'm going to write about my day. First ... I binged through "the Boroughs" ... which, to be fair, is really well paced. No stupid fillers. Two thumbs up.

Then I had that urge to watch through some of my Matrix stuff. The impulse to share it is there, but it might be too much. I mean, it certainly is. And tuning into it after a while is just different. I mean, after some time You get numb to it. Or at least ... I do. I mean, I did sessions that went for hours, watched whole movies, ... and it gets me every time how ballistic it can get. I mean, I don't know about You. It sure is true that sometimes ... You get a dud. At least I. I mean, I've always had a hard time curating my playlist. And I should, maybe, because ... the Street Fighter II Turbo ocremix official soundtrack ... more often than not it's just annoying and barely makes any sense.
And then on the other hand ... I mean, I have stuff in there where I run two or three videos in parallel ... plus music. Like ... really hitting the limit of what the audio can carry. The best one I got goes on for several hours and features Matrix, the Liliana Vess related MTG trailers and the Kunoichi trilogy.

Plus Music.

Yea, the ... studio F.O.W. stuff.

It's like 3 or 4 separate videos. Let me check ... yea, 2 hours and 20~ish minutes accross 3 videos.

I just wanted to watch one thing. Which is a MTG trailer compilation on YouTube that goes from ... ahw fuck, what's the set. Phyrexia something ... up to War of the Spark. I mean, it's kind of prophetic and easily the best single video I have. Although not the most epic.
Like, afterward I had the urge to watch through the Witcher III stuff I have ... which was like a whole phase. A week or something. Basically it's two separate Videos of the Kaer Morhan fight that I use interchangeably ... and that just ... nonstop. With music, with Video ... . Like, there's an Orchestra thingy on YouTube somewhere ... that had some video game footage playing in the background and it triggered my "hold my beer" response. And I suppose it makes for a neat microcosm. That orchestra video ... and the Kaer Morhen cinematics. It's like ... You "ought to" hit something by random given how easily it comes to me.

And if this sounds crazy to You, well ... yea, You ain't seen shit yet!

Then I wanted to check in on some Resident Evil Retribution footage I have. I mean, there was this stretch in which I watched the movie three times - so I basically have ... uh. OK, the one may be jumbled, but certainly two versions - and it makes for a neat comparison. Like, the one may look weaker than the other on first sight, but once You pay attention it's actually the other way around.

But I certainly would have overhyped the one version ... . In the context I was viewing I was certainly used to much much better stuff.
I suppose it kind of depends. I mean, the longer it goes ... the more it kind of flattens out. Like, perhaps it's just sensory overload. I would, back when I was recording these things, sometimes totally lose track of whether the music was loud enough or the movie ... like, it blends in and out ... and; Because it's a whole movie with the big moments spread a little "thin" it's usually more of an event when they happen ... so, things that aren't THAT good in the greater context can certainly shine there.

And just to check ... I at the end also went on to watch Fearless and play some Music. But yea ... same ol same ol.

There's also some ... "experimental" stuff in there. Professional Porn, Amateur Porn ... Twilight Zone ... Star Trek the OS, ... so, a truck-load of legal concerns I suppose. I mean ... it's "boobie trapped" ... to put it mildly.

But I sure have some favorites. Some stuff I could name (MJ Ghosts, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ong Bak 3, Dune Part 1 ...) and some that are just ... stuff. Like ... yea, Starcraft II cinematics X Matrix X Music, ... oh ... yea ... Sword Master. I wanna ... I'm gonna ... real quick ...
