And now?
Dear Diary,
today I made the Solar Pillar cry, and then Vortex was like Nooooooo and then I was like Yeeeeees!
Something like that. The most difficult part, honestly~ish, is to check after what lies the game has been
spreading about me again.
Anyway. Moon Lord ... different story. I don't feel ready. Like, I'm ... not properly equipped, I basically
still want to enjoy the game outside of ... racing to the finish line. Like ... I still need the Swords from
the Halloween and the Alien Invasion event. Or maybe I'll make it a point to take one from Lisa and one from
Hunter. But yea. So, I've been farming pillars because ... I need the summoning item. And throughout all this
there was ONE voice ... that I ... it reminded me. So, I was there in Hunter's Shed ... and figured that while
I'm here I might as well ... farm up on all the stuff that's been growing. Dayblooms ... most importantly.
And there's that voice. "Prune thine Vineyard" or something like that ... and then I recalled ... that's been
around back when I was there with Hunter.
I don't know. It's ... halfway annoying. Like ... there's probably very little that I'm not annoyed by at this
point. But now I need to calm down and return to my world and ... recollect. I feel like my mind as been splattered
accross a wall ... . No, a room.
And I guess that the Terraria end-game is kind of shallow. Everything gets harder; And most of the stuff You'll
want are drops from enemies. So ... you spend a lot more time trying to kill stuff ... as much as possible as
fast as possible maybe ... and then there's some bosses in-between. I appreciate it though ... because it's a
lot of content, actually. I mean, maybe not all of it, but overall ... it's nice that there are higher and higher
challenges to meet.
But yea, pruning I've done. I mean, with the plants I've gathered with Hunter, I'm pretty much set. I had a nice
garden in my expert world, but build paralysis prevented me so far from adding one in my mastermode world just
yet. And still ... I suppose I want to beat the Moon Lord first.
Then I can talk ... I suppose ...
[...]
Well ... so far I can semi-consistently ... almost dodge the death beam. So, I did more pillar farming and after
getting the hang of it I find them actually kind of fun. I mean ... the first part is 'meh' - but when the thing is
down and You got got ... and You have to get to the Pillar to destroy it ... that part is kindof awesome.
And ... seriously, from easiest to hardest: Solar, Stardust, Nebula and Vortex. I mean, technically it's Stardust,
Nebula, Solar and Vortex ... but ... in terms of how hard You can disrespect them, Solar is definitely the easiest
and Vortex is ... hardest. Technically Stardust is already disrespected if You do it "right" ... and Technically
Solar is the most disrespectful ... but Vortex has shotguns and grenades and lasers that come out of nowhere ...
and then those Lightnings ... .
But well ...
It's the hardest to get good at. So ... from my experience.
The key to all of it is obvious the Shield of Cthulu. I can't fathom to replace it for a "chance to dodge".
Although I guess ... ever so often the result is kind of the same.
And however I'm in a good mood again.
... to be continued ...
