And another one bites the dust ...

So, I did the thing ... and ... well. First I had to locate the Temple - but also saw that I might want to manage the crimson spread early. I built a house by the ocean ... dug some channels. I also visited the Djungle Temple in my Vault world to see what I could do there. And uhm ... at some point I returned to scrubbing the shithole and actually got a Crimson Mimic Kill. So, Ice Sickle, Marrow, Onyx Blaster and Sky Fracture. And ... well ... I got a Flesh Hook. And then I kept going. Basically. I suppose I still want a Philosopher's Stone or what's it called.

Today however I felt like ... grabbing some Crystal Shards, cleaning up so that new ones might grow. Thus I got sucked into the Underground desert ... which then became a game sortof. I'd make it through, taking the long route through ... and making it out to the Desert Pylon. And basically ... with Life Drain ... this becomes feasible, dealing with the Big Worms ... or ... easIER. Once I made it to the top there was a sandstorm ... and ... I should probably build some platforms if I want to farm Forbidden Fragments. So many worms ... .

But yay. I also got a Crimson and a Desert Key out of this.

And I suppose ... I've grown some skill with the Sky Fracture. I mean, in the Crimson Shithole I found to be invaluable. I mean, all come in handy in some form. But yea. I mean, Sky Fracture reminds me of a weapon I once designed ... . It's basically a set of like ... 8 or so feathers/leafs/blades ... which once can form a shield but they can also woosh around - or stab. Because the Sky Fracture projectiles appear from around the player and home in on the cursor ... there's this semi-shield-like effect that can be created when moving the cursor close. Then suppression fire can be laid down when moving the cursor far. For things like the Herpling or Basilisks and Skorpions it's important to focus them down, so, aiming slightly ahead of them.

When it hits right, it has a lot of stopping power. But then ever so often this is dependent on how many Mana Stars drop to keep it up. But now ... I suppose I want to calm a little, and ... let all of this rest. So, I'll probably go fishing and play some Street Fighter.

Well, on another note ... something seems to have flipped in my stomach. Kind of. There's something new, something that felt right and good. But uhm ... that's not ready just yet.

On another note

Uhm ... Ashera is my name in game and it seems important. I mean ... as I was there trying to play ... I kept coming back to the Character Selection screen feeling like ... something is missing. I mean, so far I tried to use aliases ... like, as a way to escape - I suppose - from "the crave of egocentric manifestations" ... and give into the expressive side of chaos ... or something.

So, at first I named the Character 'Nicole' - and instead of going for black hair I picked blue because I felt like going with my natural hair color is boring and uncreative. And blue kind of worked for me.
And then, well. I mean, I was kind of pushed or encouraged to name the Character Ashera, but then thought that ... the ambition now is 'true to self' - so I can't go there. But after everything was done, it was like the Holy Ghost just sat in - and I had a "well, fuck it" attitude.

And so, I suppose the fortune that I experience through this Character now is in part due to that. Like ... I for once am "bound" to the experiences on a personal Level, so Ashera is the Medium through which the in game blessings arrive at me. It's like ... a three-way thing.

So, inevitably the Character gains significance through the experiences that are tied to it - and I suppose that the more personal the Character ... I mean, there's like layers I suppose. God's synergy with Yourself through it would matter in its own right, where Yourself through it is the other. So, ... yea. Ego ... well. Sure. The game is blasphemous. I mean, looking at all those inscriptions ... "Ashera ..." this, Ashera that ... it's like ... "full of lies and deceit". Well, "Ashera left a Crater" ... OK, I can allow it.
