So, after having definitely been "crashing out" a little (is that how you say it?) - I got my way around to some
footing and this is the extent of it. Just finished it ... and just got a new install along with a new partition
layout. Yea, the crash. But now ... that's its own thing - and I suppose I'll wait with that. I mean ... right
now I feel like I'm not having a whole lot of resources for much - because I am pre-occupied with a bunch of things,
so ... memory is spread thin. But so I'm forced to document my progress, but ... keeping track is a whole other
things when anchor points start shifting.
So, about the previous release ... sure thing. It was a step into the right direction but ultimately it was
necessary to rethink the whole thing from the ground up. But also ... to not mess with anything. So, what happened
here was to take the existing code and make it fit into the re-envisioned 'code structure'. So, it's mostly just
copy and paste. It works almost just like the old thing; And as explained in the doc, gives it some of that mingw
feeling back. I mean ... overview and complexity ... it's better now.
And - there's more of that code protection shenanigans. Maybe it's just lazy coding. But I also don't really know
why or why not, the one thing or the other. In this scenario however the public M_CORE is "locked" because it
requires system access. But uhm ... to really do this manually, well, what you'll have to do is this. First
... you open / look for: Britney Spears - Everytime (Hi-Bias Radio Remix) - then you cd ~/_.cmain (assuming this is
where you do it) - and then edit (subl -n) cry[tabcomplete].[tabcomplete][return], edit source/active [return],
edit cry[tabcomplete] [return].
lumberjack in the middle - either one left or right - is a great way to get started.
Well ... is there more? ... hmm. I've been dropping some packages from my list and would now also recommend:
imv, libmupdf and mupdf-gl I suppose, plus ffmpeg and mplayer, while mpg123 should already be there. I haven't
tried video yet, mpg123 is a bit finnicky, but with ... agh. Well, you'll figure it out.
I'm basically running a qt-less environment right now.
And yea, I'm not doing so well. Definitely ... falling. I mean ... I'm basically sick and I don't see how I'm getting
better anytime soon.
And I guess that's it. There's not a lot to be said - oh, but yea. Doing a "starting over" bit?
Yea, the code is pretty much what it has been before. So, at least that's a thing. And oh, it has a new feature.
... uhm ... :/ [shrugs]. Yea. I have to keep you updated, this has been a significant change ... - yea, it's weird
seeing this whole thing come together ... eventually ... at last.
