A tired Comparison | A GUNPLA Review of Sorts (MGSD Aerial)
So, to leave Schroedinger's Cat where it belongs - let's leave it straight. From the
get go this Kit seemed to be a disappointment. And maybe the fact that I ordered off
of AliExpress made a difference. I certainly got something from a bad batch or
something like that. I've also had issues with the fit of certain parts - namely one
of the hip joints is rather loose - but the plastic seems to be OK. Anyway.

But ... uhm ...
well. I suppose, at the end of the day, the articulation in the arms is a little bit
disappointing too. Never mind. Staring at this image I noticed I never quite bothered
to check. So, the arms as you see them could further tilt inward. So, the bend can go
smaller than 90 degrees.
But yea. Fantastic! The design is ... it's unique. Here I lack the expertise to say how
it compares to all the Gundam models, but this is like entirely unique, or a re-invention
of the wheel. Pretty close. And ... in that regard this is like a piece of History.
Maybe. I don't know.

But yea. The Build Quality suffers from aforementioned issue - and it's also not really
all that ... interesting. What's going on. What it has a lot of however, is small parts.
Most of this Kit is small parts it would seem. Maybe not THAT much. It all feels very
bare bones however, yet, when it comes to what's underneath the surface it's a really
dense Kit that has a lot of stuff going on. Some of it ... I'm not sure about. But yes,
enough wiggle room accross enough joints has always worked out well I suppose.

Makes me curious what a 1/100 or perhaps even a 1/60 could look like. But for now, it
really adds to the MGSD series thus far as some kind of celebration round or "condensed
showcase". Technically.
The Shoulder Joints are kind of loose ... .

But something in my head drums "Must be ... the reason ..."
