A Letter to Darkness
[thunder cracking]
What are the Results?! What's the accomplishment? See, I'm not sure if anyone up here
cares about you, at all. I'm contemplating whether or not to write this, like, at all.
Ultimately I suppose I'm too proud to not have done it. So I'm also not goint to
pretend like I know what to say here other than what was given to me. Which is: If
there's anything human left about you, it can be saved!
[thunder cracking]
And to the Antichrist: Why? Why all this? What's any of this about? Why can't you just
chill? Like, I don't know ... build watches or something?!
[curtain falls]
For centuries man has found ways to woo the woman. And for centuries woman has found ways
to woo the man. And it sure does seem as if the modern day has wrought a pest upon our
kind that somehow made us stall.
And even worse! The younger generations progressively lack ... something. And I'm sure we
all can nod along to that even if the words that come to mind are vastly different from
one to the other.
"Whatever makes sense" [thunder crackles]
There's something to it. It's, I guess, why some people are anxious not to give certain
people any exposure at all. It's as the Bible says: It's not what enters the mouth that
goes to the heart and defiles man, it's what exits the mouth.
Like, what hurt could it be to Listen? See if it makes sense? And we can jump right to the
extreme and talk about the Genocide in Gaza. Is it justified? Does it make sense? And yea,
there IS a difference. But so, what if it does start to make sense?
[thunder growling]
And so, what is there between 'sense' and 'justification'? I would think sympathies and a
certain belief in a certain victim role that a given narrative produces.
And isn't that what it takes to be a 'good person'? Sympathies? Compassion? Wouldn't it be
nice and simple if we could just have our brownie cookies for it?
Well, but then you see people making a party of watching people die ... and it's like ...
yea, but nah - sorry, no sorry.
You know what I mean?
And yea - you can bet your ass we're going to all hear "the name" and we'll have to listen
how ... you've heard it before or not it doesn't matter ... and it makes sense as some kind
of tribalistic mechanism. Like, OK, cool. Accuse me of being happy about the death of ...
Mr. Bubblehead ... so, cool. We can see who the victim is and why I'd not be sad to see him
dead. The issue of course is that this deflection is just a deflection and has nothing to
do with my own personal deeds or miscarriages because how could it? Like, sure - I'm not "here"
to judge myself but to judge others, let's say. And it is similar to how it was with Christ.
While Christ did not come to condemn but to redeem - your condemnation of me is a condemnation
of your own. So, it's similar. It's some kind of a thing - like a thing that there would be
a term for. So, the presence of Christ as God - so is the idea or logic - would be an act of
condemnation. I suppose it is somewhat complicated, in the grand scheme of things, but
simplified it also has to do with the commitment of God that comes along with a certain path
that's being chosen. And if He so had to sort us into good and bad - then and there - as for
who get's to be with the cool kids and who doesn't - y'all had been fucked over. And yea,
maybe ... we can get a beautiful shot as to why just in about ... around these days some
time.
And of course the Bible is no stranger to the knowledge of the so called Hypocrite. Like, if
God were there - present and all - that would allow all the Hypocrites to ... well, be that
but also in the presence of God which would mean that they'd be somehow ostricized and they'd
act like it's unfair and all that. Well, that's what I'm thinking. I have a vivid fantasy!
So, how it would be catastrophic, how it would come to the catastrophe, what we could do to
avert it and how that'd change the outcome one way or the other - that's ... "anyone's best
guess", as they say.
[a blazing flash of light illuminates the scene as an ear defening boo....gshhhhhh]
